Eric Appapoulay was Born in East London on 21st Dec 1971, to Mauritian parents, he began playing (sega) traditional music from Mauritius at age 8 alongside reggae, calypso, soca and high life. He studied Classical guitar privately, inspired by John Williams. Listened to Flamenco guitar, Paco de Lucia, also Blues, rock & country, BB king, Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Kelly joe Phelps & Mark knopfler. Much later Jazz/Fusion with George Benson, Earl Klugh, Larry Carlton, Robin Ford, Pat Metheny, Bireli Lagrene and Scott Henderson,
