Another 3 gongs to the collection for Ben Drew (Plan B) and also this time one for our very own Eric Appapoulay.
Plan B performed a Hat trick and took home 3 Ivors for…

- Most Performed Work / She Said – Awarded to Eric Appapoulay, Richard Cassell ,Tom Wright-Goss, Ben Drew
- Best Album / The Defamation of Strickland Banks
- Songwriter of the Year – Ben Drew (Plan B)

The Ivors are internationally respected for honouring excellence in British music writing.They are judged
and presented by the writing community and for over 50 years have been given annually to outstanding
composers and song writers.

The Sanctuary Studio boys done good ! The Music Producers Guild of UK awarded Ben Drew (Plan B),Eric Appapoulay and David McEwan the UK Single of the Year for Plan Bs “She Said”. The single from the album “The Defamation of Strickland Banks “was recorded and mixed here at the Sanctuary recording studio and Produced by Ben Drew,Eric Appapoulay and David McEwan. The Sanctuary Recording studio would like to thank the Music Producers Guild for the award and also the sponsor PMC monitors.

Ben Drew (Plan B), Eric Appapoulay and David McEwan have been nominated for UK Single of the Year 2010 for producing the Plan B single “She Said”. Recorded and Mixed here at the Sanctuary recording Studio we are honoured to have received such a nomination .The Awards will take place at Cafe De Paris in London on Feb 9th . The obscenely talented geeza Ben Drew (Plan B) started work on “The Defamation of Strickland Banks” here at The Sanctuary Recording Studio back in 2008. Then in April 2010 the Album was released and it went into the Album Charts at No 1. We (Eric Appapoulay and David McEwan) are extremely proud to have been involved with such a project and would like to congratulate Ben on the success of “The Defamation of Strickland Banks”.
